I have been fishing off of kayaks for almost 20 years now and specialize around the upper coast.
I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and started fishing at a very young age. I love fishing fresh and saltwater but my passion has always been in the salt. I got my first kayak at the age of 18 and have been crazy about it ever since. Although I wasn’t able to get down to the coast a lot, I still maintained my addiction in rivers and lakes around San Antonio by catching species such as largemouth bass and white bass. But in 2013, I moved down to the Texas coast to chase my dream of becoming an accomplished tournament angler as well as a full time guide. My love for the sport is only rivaled by my passion to teach others how to become better anglers. Every chance I have, I take someone new to the sport out and do my best to put them on a fish of a lifetime. When I’m not at work or spending time with family, you better believe I’m somewhere deep in a Texas marsh covered in mosquitoes and mud with a big redfish on the end of my line having the time of my life.
